Malaysia Airlines Flight 653 was a scheduled domestic flight from Penang to Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia on Dec. 4, 1977. When the aircraft passed the Batu Arang, it was hijacked by a man who spoke Japanese. The plane finally crashed at Tanjung Kupang, Johor in Malaysia. All 93 passengers and 7 crew members were killed instantly. The details of the hijacking still remain unsolved.
