Born in 1982, Joo Ji-hoon is a South Korean actor known for his leading role in the drama "Princess Hours." The film's huge success made him the ultimate Prince Charming for many girls across Asia. However, he was caught taking ecstasy and ketamines by Seoul Metropolitan Police in April of 2009. He was sentenced to six months in prison and was suspended from the industry for one year. He consequently started serving his mandatory military service in February of 2010. He has rebooted his acting career since 2011 and actually won the Popularity Award-Actor at the 2nd Daejeon Drama Festival-APAN Star Awards for his new drama "Five Fingers."
