Sinopec Group topped the top 500 Chinese companies list released by China Enterprise Confederation (CEC) and China Enterprise Directors Association (CEDA) again with reported revenue of 2.95 trillion yuan (US$479.46 billion).

The confederation also released several lists including the Top 500 manufacturing enterprises, top 500 enterprises in the service industry and the top 100 Chinese transnational corporations.

Statistics show that the 500 enterprises had total revenues of 56.68 trillion yuan (US$9.2 trillion), up 13.31 percent compared with last year.

The net profit of the top 500 companies reached 2.4 trillion yuan (US$ 390.7 billion), up 10.6 percent compared with 2.17 trillion (US$ 353.28 billion) last year.
