Lyu Buwei
Lyu Buwei (292-235 B.C.) was a politician, a great thinker and a merchant during the Warring States period in ancient China. King Zhuangxiang appointed Lyu as prime minister after the death of his father. Lyu is also known for sponsoring the Lyu's Commentaries of History, or Lyushi Chunqiu, an encyclopedic compendium of the ideas of the Hundred Schools of Thought that was published in 239 B.C.
