The United States topped the list of the 10 Countries with the Highest Total Individual Wealth, according to the latest data released by New World Wealth, a well-known global wealth intelligence and market research company.
The ranking considered wealth numbers as of June 2016. The number covers all individual wealth of people in a country, including assets after deducting liabilities, cash, shares and commercial interests.
On the other hand, it has released another ranking - countries ranked by per capita wealth. Countries on the list have changed a lot and most of the top 10 spots were taken by European countries. Thanks to having no personal income tax, Monaco attracted a large amount of rich immigrants and topped the list with nearly US$1.6 million.
