# Beijing 2022 test series kicks off
The Beijing Organising Committee for the 2022 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games (BOCOG) planned a series of test programs in Winter Olympic venues last year to conduct necessary test operations on infrastructure, command systems, competition services, and safeguarding measures.
Dubbed "Experience Beijing," the tailored test events which spanned three sessions taking place in February, April, and October, respectively, invited athletes at home and abroad to practice in both ice and snow disciplines with comprehensive COVID-19 countermeasures, ensuring a smooth rehearsal for Beijing 2022.
