Rabbit Ear Mountain, Fuzhou, Fujian Province
Located in the boundary among Minhou county, Yongtai county and Fuqing city, Rabbit Ear Mountain is well known for overlapping steep peaks, dense woods, countless streams and pools, as well as dangerous caves. Seen from Dazhang Stream at the foot of the mountain, a pair of vivid rabbit ears comes into view, hence the mountain's name "Rabbit Ear". Every scenic spot in the mountain enjoys a poetic legend, such as "old woman driving rabbits", "two dragons playing the pearl", "love affairs of monks" and "eight immortals welcoming guests".
The spectacular waterfalls are seen everywhere. The Feilong (Flying Dragon) Waterfall, the highest one, has a drop of over 10 meters. The Feixian Village, located close to the mountain top, boasts for the strange rock caves scattered in 100-meter range. Yongtongbei, the smallest reservoir site in the country, which was built 700 years ago, is hidden deep in the woods.

Transportation: take bus No.5 from Fuzhou to Hongshanqiao West Passenger Station, change to the minibus to Yongtai, get off at the crossing of Minhou Nanyu town and take a minibus to Rabbit Ear Mountain.
