In recent years, the Chenggong district government has focused on the goal of building the world's first flower trading center in its jurisdiction, and it uses the Dounan Flower Exhibition as a platform to promote the high-quality development of Dounan's flower industry cluster that incorporates scientific research, trading and exhibition.
To that end, the local government issued support policies, carried out a pilot reform of flower tax invoice, and promoted the delivery and use of a flower seed lab under the seeding research project of the province.
Thanks to these efforts, Dounan's flower trading volume reached 12.3 billion branches, with a transaction volume of 9.5 billion yuan ($1.3 billion) in the first 10 months of the year.
