Day 1
Destinations: Arrive in Beijing
Today's Activities:Beijing is a city of both old and new - an ancient capital with some fantastic historical sites and a bustling modern metropolis hosting Olympics successfully. Upon arrival in Beijing, your guide will meet you at the arrival hall and transfer you to your Hotel. The guide will give you some tips on local restaurants that we recommend and you can do some shopping in streets nearby. The rest of the day is free to recover from jetlag or to explore the neighborhood as you wish.
Day 2
Destinations: Beijing
Today's Activities:After breakfast, your tour will start at Tian'anmen Square, the world's largest public square, and The Forbidden City, supreme political center as well as royal living palaces for emperors of Ming and Qing dynasties from 1420 to 1911. After lunch, you'll visit the Temple of Heaven, where the Emperors prayed for good harvests and worshipped God of Heaven.
You can also take a chance to visit either Pearl shop or local art & craft shop to have a better understanding of local culture.
In the evening, enjoy watching a splendid show of Shaolin Kungfu or Acrobatics on own expense, or enjoy nightlife in pubs & bars around the Houhai Lake.
Day 3
Destinations: Beijing
Today's Activities:After breakfast, drive approximately two hours for Great Wall (Badaling). Stretching for over 6000km, this great defense work was originally built to protect inner land of China from invasion of nomadic troops. You can walk and climb at your own pace on this great wonder of the world.
The 2008 Beijing Olympic Park and Olympic village was open to public from October, 2008. You can take a walk in the world's biggest Olympic Park and have a glimpse of the Olympic stadiums, such as Bird's Nest - National Stadium, and Water Cube - National Aquatics Center.
Finally visit the Summer Palace, the most beautiful imperial garden in China. You can have a boat ride on the lake which is a best way to enjoy the beautiful view.

Day 4
Destinations: Depart from Beijing
Today's Activities:Free at leisure, until you are ready to go to airport for your departure. If time permits, you can go to the famous Xiushui Street (silk market). It is a paradise for shopping for Chinese goods and souvenir. You can also enjoy the fun of bargaining with venders.
