October is the golden season for travelling in Beijing and the Tour of Wild Great Wall provided by the Peninsula Beijing will make your trip even more memorable.
Visitors have long visited China’s historic Great Wall, but few have ventured off the beaten path to visit the “wild” side of this spectacular World Heritage site. You will have the chance to hike along an un-restored section of the Great Wall, walking along uneven paths and seeing sights many don’t know exist. The view of the Great Wall is spectacular, stretching beyond the horizon east and west. During the eight-hour trip, a personal guide will explain the lesser-known facts about the Great Wall and related Chinese history. Participants will enjoy a picnic lunch.
As one programme of the Peninsula Academy, the Wild Great Wall offers this package for RMB 1,650 per person (minimum of two people) which includes an English-speaking hiking specialist, round-trip transfer and one picnic lunch box for each participant.
