The Hilton Beijing contemporary art gallery is set to launch new art work! Throughout November and December, the Galleria 2 and 3 on the second and third floor of Hilton Beijing will be exhibiting the art work of exceptionally skilled Chinese ink painter – Mr. Hao Shiming, introduced by the Art Scene Warehouse.

Mr. Hao Shiming's art work is understated and soothing to the eyes. He uses a traditional "gong bi" Chinese ink painting medium expressing Chinese women are graceful and melancholic and demonstrating his love of nature. The juxtaposition of female figures with plants, flowers and straw-thatch birds represents the changing social position of women in a country which is undergoing an extreme and rapid social transformation.
