The Colombia Pavilion on Tuesday presented an emerald carving of Haibao, the Expo 2010 mascot, to Shanghai Expo Museum.
The emerald weighing 5,000 carats took skilled craftsmen nearly two months to carve.
Luis Alfredo Ramos, governor of Antioquia, a province of Colombia, also presented a "silleta," a chair made with more than 10,000 flowers, to Hua Junduo, China's commissioner general for World Expo 2010, during the ceremony.
The governor was in Shanghai for "Antioquia, the Best Corner of Colombia" investment promotion held in the pavilion. His team introduced the province's clean, renewable resources, infrastructure development, mining industry, tourism and other investment projects.
