The big screen romance "Hot Summer Days" is set to open across China on February the 11th. This week, the premiere brought major cast members to Beijing. Among them are Rene Liu, Vivian Hsu, and Angela Baby. The girls provided some enlightening comments on their lovers in the story.
This year, the Spring Festival coincides with the Valentine's Day. Designed as a movie for the Chinese New Year, Hot Summer Days serves both occasions. It follows the romances of five glamorous young couples.
At Tuesday's press conference, the female leads had a good time commenting on their partners in the story. Vivian Hsu was the most liberal with praise.
Vivian Hsu said, "I think Daniel Wu's acting is remarkable. He's so good with managing his feelings and emotions."
A major attraction of the movie is the reappearance of veteran actress Maggie Cheung, absent from the big screen for six years. Although she only appears in for three short minutes, she supplies a stunning performance.
Leading entertainers from the Chinese-speaking world joined in the festivities that followed.
