The 21 leaders at the APEC meeting in Japan have released a joint declaration titled "Yokohama Vision" outlining future goals.
The declaration was announced by Japanese Prime Minister Naoto Kan, and comes at the end of the two-day leaders' meeting.
It aims to promote the goal of establishing a giant free trade area in the Asia-Pacific region.
The declaration comprises three main points, including regional sustainable growth, and ensuring APEC member economies move forward with liberalization of trade and investment.
