China proved to be the biggest winner on day one of competition at the Asian Para Games, winning ten gold medals, seven of which came in the pool.
In the men's 100m Butterfly S8 event, three Chinese swimmers took the lead right from the start, and largely extended their lead halfway through the race.
They eventually managed a 1-2-3 finish for China in the event, with Wei Yanpeng winning the gold.
It was the same story in the women's 100m butterfly S8 event, with China managing the top three places. Cai Xiaoqin won the competition in 1 minute 13.10 seconds, a new Asian record.
And in the women's 100m butterfly S10 event, China took the top four places, with Bao Yanfen winning the gold, also with a new Asian record.
In shooting, China's He Huan won the R2-SH1 women's 10m Air Rifle Standing. The 22-year-old took the gold with 497.7 points, while world record holder Kim Im Yeon only finished in third place.
