2011 is the Year of the Rabbit, and the rabbitfish and the sea rabbit are making a splash at the Shanghai Ocean Aquarium.

The aquarium set up a special exhibit area for the bunny-like creatures, as visitors prepare to celebrate the Chinese New Year.

The rabbit is one of the 12 animals represented in the Chinese zodiac, and aquarium visitors have been quick to spot the similarities with its marine equivalent, the sea rabbit.

Visitor Luo Yajie said, "Their two protruding feelers look a lot like the ears of a rabbit. They are so fun. When they walk, I think they look more like snails."
