Boosted by the best selling FIFA World Cup song in history, Waka Waka, Colombian pop diva Shakira has kicked off her new tour to support her seventh studio album.
The worldwide "Pop Festival Tour" started in Latin America as Shakira performed for tens of thousands of people in Buenos Aires on March 5th. Excited fans gathered outside the venue, posing for photos in front of Shakira's posters, waiting to see the Latin-American sensation.
Many of them have been to her concerts more than once. The Grammy Award-winning singer performed hits from her latest bilingual album "Sale el Sol" as well as some of her classics. She also included a cover of Metallica's "Nothing Else Matters." The tour will last four months, covering several Latin American and European countries.
