Prince William and Kate Middleton are married already! At least they have been at Legoland where the latest exhibit showcases the upcoming Royal wedding. One of the United Kingdom's best loved attractions has put its own spin on the upcoming Royal wedding.
As from April the 1st visitors to Legoland, near the Royal home of Windsor, will be able to see a model version of William and Kate's nuptials complete with Buckingham Palace and crowds.
Sue Kemp, Legoland Divisional Director said "Well we open this weekend - 15th anniversary - and it's a perfect opportunity to showcase the skills of our fantastic model makers. We're only two miles from Windsor Castle and with the Royal wedding so close now and lots of people very interested to come into Miniland and see the showcase for the Royal wedding that we have."
The process of creating a miniature replica of the wedding is a painstaking process, according to model maker Paula Laughton.
Paula Laughton, model maker said "The actual models, it takes about an hour or so just to do the models and it's made out of about thirty pieces of Lego but because there's a lot of detail in those models, it takes about two hours to complete each model on those."
Royal wedding planners will have their work cut out trying to match the spectacular creation at Legoland.
