Chinese top seed Li Na will get her tournament underway tomorrow.
Seeded sixth, Li took to the practice court on Sunday to get a little warm-up in ahead of her opening round match against Barbara Sahlavova Strychova of the Czech Republic.
Li Na's training partner on the day, another Czech, Daniela Hantuchova. The two had about an hour of practice, under the watchful eye of Li Na's coach Michael Mortensen, who was fine-tuning Li's game ahead of her run at Rolland Garros.
Seeded 6th for the French Open, Li Na is the highest seed among the Chinese mainland. Li's best result in a Grand Slam came earlier this year at the Australian Open, when she finished as runner-up in Melbourne. Her best finish at a a French Open came in 2009, when Li made it round four.
Li has continued to gain experience on the big stage at grand slam events, and has had a couple of strong events on the clay leading into Rolland Garros. Her coach, pleased with how she is looking in practice.
