At the World Aquatic Championships in Shanghai where China was attempting to win its 7th straight diving gold medal of the 2011 World's. The women's 10m platform, the latest platform for China to demonstrate the country's diving dominance.

This one, appeared as if it would come down to a battle between teammates Chen Ruolin and Hu Yadan, the top two qualifiers for the final round.
Chen, was solid throughout. And thanks to a miscue from Hu in the fourth round, would dive her way to the win.
After her miscue in the penultimate fourth round, Hu would show her heart in the final fifth round throwing down an amazing dive that saw her receive five perfect 10's from the judges.
That was just enough for Hu to slip by defending champion Paola Espinosa of Mexico, who took the bronze.
China's Chen says her consistency was the key to clinching the title.
Chen said, "I am good at being stable. Hu Yadan is still young, she still has the opportunity to grow. And I am now looking forward the London Olympics."
