In India, police have stepped up security at major airports after receiving another e-mail, warning of an impending attack.
The Intelligence Bureau has raised the alert at Mumbai's Chatrapti Shivaji International Airport. It comes just six days after the explosion in New Delhi which killed 13 people and injured around 88. Extra security personnel have been deployed at sensitive places including shopping malls, metro stations, railway stations, airports and markets. Precautionary measures are being taken ahead of the third anniversary of the September the 13th attacks which killed more than 20 people. Passengers seem satisfied with the security arrangements.
Passenger Sanjeev Kumar said, "The security arrangements are quite satisfactory in Nagpur as well as in Mumbai, it's good to see such good security arrangements at the time of high alert. It's good that we are aware of the situation and are ready to combat militant attacks."
