Film legend Elizabeth Taylor died at age 79 from congestive heart failure on March 23, 2011. She rose from a childhood stardom to become one of Hollywood's most talented actresses. Over a career spanning seven decades, Taylor was nominated for five Oscars - winning the best actress honor twice. In real life, she battled problems with weight and drug addiction. She was married 8 times - twice to actor Richard Burton.
Apple Inc co-founder and CEO Steve Jobs died on October 05, 2011 at the age of 56, following a years-long and highly public battle with cancer. Jobs was counted among the greatest American CEOs of his generation. He was seen as the heart and soul of a company that now rivals Exxon Mobil as America's most valuable company.
