Senior Communist Party of China official, Li Changchun, is continuing his official visit to Britain. He's met with the president of the 48 Group Club of traders with China, Stephen Perry, and representatives of youth icebreakers.

Li Changchun spoke to Perry about his father Jack, the first chairman of the group. He praised the older generation's influence in opening a door for communication.
Li Changchun said China appreciates the Club's contributions to economic and cultural communications. He also briefed attendees on China's social development and the twelfth five-year plan.

Perry said the 48 Group Club supports China's peaceful development, and will continue to promote closer cooperation.
Li Changchun later visited the Chinese pavilion at the London Book Fair.
He arrived in London Sunday on a four-day official visit to Britain, with the aim to promote cultural exchange and bilateral ties.
