A military plane crashed into a corn farm near Dalian in China's northeastern Liaoning Province.

The accident took place Friday morning. The pilot was killed in the crash and he was the only person aboard the jet at the time. The aircraft is known as a Q-5 training jet, and it’s been in use since the late 19-60s. The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
