The three-day 2015 World Internet Conference begins Wednesday in Wuzhen in east China's Zhejiang province. More than 2,000 participants from around the world—including President Xi Jinping and other foreign leaders, heads of international organizations, and Internet industry experts—will attend.

The participants are expected to exchange ideas on such topics as cyber security; Internet intellectual property rights and technological innovation. Xi will deliver a keynote speech at the forum that ends Friday.
A spokesman for the cyberspace administration of China says the agency is ready for the event. And it hopes that through the conference, people from around the world can exchange ideas, strengthen cooperation, and lead in the future.
