The 33-year-old artist was invited by the famed art museum, Musee Du Louvre, to create a monumental optical illusion. With paper sheets covering the entire structure, JR's collage perfectly aligns to the architectural backdrop when viewed from a certain vantage point, completely concealing the glass pyramid from view.
It is called an "anamorphic" image and will be visible, or rather invisible, until June 28.
