Competitors from China are arriving in Brazil and have begun final training sessions ahead of the 2016 Olympics Games.
The training camp for China's athletes is in a private club in Sau Paulo. Team members will receive sprint training and also time to adjust to their new environment. The athletes are staying in a hotel near the training camp and their food is specially prepared by the hotel and the club. In the coming days, the volleyball and badminton teams will arrive. By Thursday, more than 300 Chinese competitors will be training here.
"The hotel is very good. The facilities in the training camp are complete, and the training ground is superb. We have the best support from China's General Administration of Sport, and the Chinese Football Association. Getting used to the new environment in the Olympic Village is especially helpful for our team," Coach of Chiense Women's Soccer Team Brund Claude Bini said.
"Although it is small, our gymnasium has all the equipment we need for the competition. The club is said to have a long history of over 100 years. While we practice, we could hear birds. It gives the team members a special feeling," Leader of China's Gymnastics Team Ye Zhennan said.
