On Thursday China launched its No. 2 telecommunication technology test satellite from the Xichang Satellite Launch Center in southwest China's Sichuan Province. The satellite, China's first to be launched in 2017, was lifted and sent into orbit by a Long March-3B carrier rocket. The test satellite will conduct experiments on multi-band, broadband and high-speed data transmission. Take a look at the moment the satellite was launched into space.
