Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad paid an official one-day visit to Afghan capital Kabul on Wednesday.
This is his President Ahmadinejad's first visit to Afghanistan since his re-election during which he would be meeting his Afghan counterpart President Hamid Karzai.
The two leaders are expected to exchanges views on matters pertaining mutual interests including boosting economic relations, war on drug and situation in the region, an official said but declined to be named.
President Ahmdinejad was supposed to arrive on Monday but it was postponed.
