Chinese embassy in Bangladesh held a reception here Monday to celebrate the Army Day which marks the 83rd anniversary of the founding of the Chinese People's Liberation Army.
More than 300 guests including Chinese Ambassador Zhang Xianyi, Bangladeshi Industry Minister Dilip Barua, Chief of the Naval Staff Vice Admiral Zahir Uddin Ahmed, Chief of the Air Force Air Marshal Ziaur Raman, Director General of the Directorate General of Forces Intelligence Lieutenant General Mollah Fazle Akbar, representatives of the Chinese companies in Bangladesh and some foreign diplomats were invited to attend the reception.
The Chinese Military, Naval and Air Attache in Bangladesh Zhu Dewu said that the high-level visits between China and Bangladesh this year not only boosted the bilateral political and economic relations but also enhance the military relation of the two Asian countries.
The Bangladeshi military officials highly appreciated the efforts made by the outgoing Chinese Military, Naval and Air Attache for boosting the friendship between the two armed forces, and hoped to strengthen the communications with Chinese army force.
