Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao left here on Thursday afternoon, concluding his official visits to Russia and Tajikistan and his attendance of the ninth prime ministers' meeting of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO).
During his visit to Russia, Wen met with Russian President Dmitry Medvedev in Moscow, and jointly held with Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin the 15th regular meeting of the Chinese and Russian premiers. He also witnessed the signing of a dozen bilateral cooperation agreements valued at eight billion U.S. dollars.
In Tajikistan, the Chinese premier reviewed China-Tajikistan relations in his meeting with Tajik President Emomali Rahmon, and talks held with Tajik Prime Minister Akil Akilov. In the talks, China and Tajikistan agreed to promote the development of bilateral relations to a higher level.
Wen also attended the ninth SCO prime ministers' meeting in Tajikistan's capital, jointly declaring with the other member states of the organization to further promote regional cooperation within the SCO framework.
