The Democratic People's Republic of Korea(DPRK)'s official news agency said Monday the DPRK people would deeply support and trust the leadership of Kim Jong Un.
The "grief-stricken" DPRK people are "renewing their pledge to remain loyal to the leadership of Kim Jong Un by overcoming their sorrow and displaying fresh strength and courage," the KCNA said in an article.
Korean People's Army (KPA) officer Kim Kyong Chol was quoted as saying that the armed forces would always emerge victorious as the powerful revolutionary army, thanks to Kim Jong Un.
Ri Un Chol, a citizen of Pyongyang, said that Kim Jong Il's ideas and cause would be achieved under the leadership of Kim Jong Un, great successor to the revolutionary cause.
The army and people will struggle for an ultimate victory led by Kim Jong Un, Ri said.
Kim Jong Il, general secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea (WPK), chairman of the DPRK National Defense Commission and supreme commander of the KPA, passed away from a great mental and physical strain at 08:30 on Dec. 17 (2330 GMT Friday), on a train during a field guidance tour, the KCNA reported Monday.
