Chinese President Xi Jinping will have meetings with leaders from five countries later this month on the sidelines of the Nuclear Security Summit (NSS) in the Netherlands, said Foreign Ministry spokesman Hong Lei on Thursday.
The global summit, the third of its kind since 2010, will be held in the Hague from March 24 to 25.
Besides U.S. President Barack Obama, Xi will also meet with President of the Republic of Korea Park Geun-hye, President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev, Finnish President Sauli Niinisto and British Prime Minister David Cameron, Hong told a regular press conference.
China is still coordinating with the countries involved on arrangements for these meetings, he added.
In addition to attending the NSS, Xi will pay state visits to the Netherlands, France, Germany and Belgium, and will visit the headquarters of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) and the headquarters of the European Union during the trip.
