The proposal of building a community of a shared future for humankind made by Chinese President Xi Jinping meets a pressing need and is very important, said Alikhan Baimenov, the chairman of the Steering Committee of Regional Hub of the Civil Service in Astana, Kazakhstan, at the opening ceremony of seminar focusing on BRICS governance in Quanzhou, Fujian Province, on August 17.
The efficiency of the governance system was the key to realizing President Xi's proposal and promoting sustainable development, Baimenov said.
Each country had its own economic condition, but all countries were trying to share their experiences in solving various problems. Although there were unlikely to be any universal solutions, but if countries could share their experiences and understandings, what emerged might be of wider benefit and worth learning, he said.
