Over the past 20 years since its establishment, it has always followed the "Shanghai spirit" of "mutual trust, mutual benefits, equality, consultation, respect for diverse civilizations, and pursuit of common development" and stayed committed to the cause of world peace and development and human progress. It has blazed a path of cooperation and development that conforms to regional realities and the needs of all parties and made important theoretical and practical explorations on building a new type of international relations and a global community of shared future.
