Acupuncture and moxibustion

Acupuncture and moxibustion are two forms of therapy in traditional Chinese medicine. They are the most commonly used external methods for disease prevention and treatment. Both methods act by stimulating the meridians and acupuncture points. They are often used in combination in traditional Chinese medicine and health care.

Acupuncture therapy involves the use of fine metal needles to stimulate specific acupuncture points on the body, utilizing various techniques to regulate the meridians and adjust the flow of qi and blood. Moxibustion therapy slowly warms specific acupuncture points on the body using moxa sticks or moxa cones made from compressed mugwort. 針灸

針灸是中醫(yī)針刺療法和艾灸療法的總稱，是中醫(yī)治療疾病、預(yù)防保健最常用的兩種外治方法。這兩種方法均是通過(guò)刺激經(jīng)絡(luò)、穴位，達(dá)到防病、治病的目的，在中醫(yī)治療保健中經(jīng)常配合使用，故合稱為針灸。

針刺療法是用金屬制成的細(xì)針，運(yùn)用不同手法，刺入身體一定穴位，以一定的手法疏通經(jīng)絡(luò)、調(diào)理氣血。艾灸療法是點(diǎn)燃用艾絨搓成的艾條或艾炷，緩慢溫熏人體穴位，借助艾條燃燒的溫和熱力、藥物作用，溫經(jīng)散寒、溫通氣血。針灸療法簡(jiǎn)便易行，療效迅速顯著，醫(yī)療成本較低，幾乎沒(méi)有副作用，而且可以協(xié)同其他療法進(jìn)行綜合治療。由于具有這些獨(dú)特優(yōu)勢(shì)，長(zhǎng)期以來(lái)，針灸療法一直深受人們的認(rèn)可。

早在唐代，中國(guó)針灸就已經(jīng)傳播到日本、朝鮮、越南等國(guó)家。截至目前，針灸已經(jīng)傳播到世界140多個(gè)國(guó)家和地區(qū)，為保障各國(guó)人民生命安全和身體健康發(fā)揮了重要作用， 越來(lái)越多的人體驗(yàn)到了針灸的療效和中醫(yī)的神奇。
