Scientists make quantum computing breakthrough
According to Nature of October 29, Professor Du Jiangfeng research group from Chinese University of Science and Technology with the cooperation of Professor Liu Renbao from Chinese University of Hong Kong, have successfully used electron spin resonance (ESR) to achieve optimal dynamical decoupling through solid-state experiments for the first time in the international community. This greatly improved the coherence of the time of the electronic spin, and effectively preserved electron spin coherence in solids. These achievements are vital in realization of practical solid-state spin quantum computing.
