While their official top speed sits right at 47.5 mph, some individuals have been clocked going as high as 55 mph. Quarter Horse is primarily known to be used in racing. Among his best skills are the abilities in their turns, quick starts, stops and etc. Apart from racing they are also used in ranches, horse shows, and rodeos as well. This horse is the most popular breed in the United States with about five million registered worldwide.
