Located in Southern England, Beachy Head, a chalk headland, is the highest chalk sea cliff in Britain, providing amazing sea views. Known as one of the most "romantic" suicide spots in the world, it is estimated that over 20 people have ended their lives there every year, according to statistics. In order to prevent suicides, the Beachy Head Chaplaincy Team has conducted regular day and evening patrols since 2004 and has saved 252 people as of January 2013.
