The Great Wall of China is a fortification made mainly of stone and bricks, which begins in Shanhaiguan, northeast of Qinhuangdao City in Hebei Province on China's east coast. From east to west, the sections at Shanhaiguan, Jinshanling, Mutianyu, Badaling and Jiayuguan have become popular tourist attractions. Visitors form "Seas of People" at the Great Wall during holidays and festivals, especially during the National Day holiday.
