It is our shared belief that mutual respect, mutual trust and treating each other with sincerity are the necessary precondition for the sound and stable growth of China-France relations. Taking pioneering steps while keeping pace with the times is a key asset for China-France relations to always stay ahead in China's relations with Western countries. Mutual benefit, win-win and inclusiveness are the basic point of departure to ensure that the relationship can deliver long-term gains to the two peoples. Acting independently but ready to seek common ground while shelving differences is the philosophical foundation for the two countries to coordinate and cooperate in international affairs. And taking on global challenges as fellow passengers sharing a common stake is the abiding commitment of the two countries to peace and development of mankind despite international vicissitudes. |
| 中國人講“知行合一”，法國人講“打鐵方能成鐵匠”，都強(qiáng)調(diào)要把思想轉(zhuǎn)化成為行動(dòng)。在3天的訪問中，我將同奧朗德總統(tǒng)等法國領(lǐng)導(dǎo)人充分交換意見，并將共同發(fā)表新的聯(lián)合聲明和中長期合作規(guī)劃。我相信，我們一定能夠達(dá)成新的重要共識。我認(rèn)為，中法作為全面戰(zhàn)略伙伴，要互尊互信、協(xié)作創(chuàng)新，繼續(xù)引領(lǐng)中歐關(guān)系和中國同西方國家關(guān)系發(fā)展。 | The Chinese value "combining learning with practice", while the French believe that "forging iron makes one a blacksmith". Both highlight the need to turn idea into action. During the three-day visit, I will exchange views extensively with President Fran?ois Hollande and other French leaders. We will issue a new joint statement and a plan for medium- and long-term cooperation. I believe we will reach some new consensus that is important. China and France, as each other's comprehensive strategic partner, ought to treat each other with mutual respect and mutual trust, work closely and innovatively, and continue to take the lead in growing China-EU relations and China's relations with Western countries. |

| 來法國前，我已經(jīng)訪問了荷蘭，接下來還將訪問德國、比利時(shí)、歐盟總部。我在今年開春之際抽出11天時(shí)間訪問歐洲，是因?yàn)槲腋叨戎匾暁W盟和中歐關(guān)系，堅(jiān)定支持歐洲一體化建設(shè)。當(dāng)前，中歐都處于各自發(fā)展的關(guān)鍵階段，中歐關(guān)系面臨新的發(fā)展機(jī)遇。雙方要不斷深化金融、基礎(chǔ)設(shè)施建設(shè)、新型城鎮(zhèn)化、新能源、科技創(chuàng)新、節(jié)能環(huán)保等領(lǐng)域互利合作，加速中歐投資協(xié)定談判步伐。 | Before coming to France, I have already visited the Netherlands and will soon go to Germany, Belgium and the EU headquarters. The reason I have decided to spend 11 days to visit Europe at the beginning of the spring season is because I attach great importance to the EU and China-EU relations and I am a staunch supporter of European integration. Both at the crucial stage of their respective development, China and the EU are now faced with new opportunities to develop their relations. The two sides need to deepen their win-win cooperation in finance, infrastructure development, the new type of urbanization, new energy, scientific and technological innovation, energy conservation, environmental protection and other areas, and move still faster in their negotiations for a China-EU investment treaty. |
